Sign up for a Canvas Analytics workshop

Canvas course analytics and quiz statistics can be useful tools for understanding how students are engaging with course materials and designs—for example, by providing instructors with data about which course resources students turn to most often.

This semester, faculty and instructional support staff are invited to attend a one-hour, hands-on workshop that will teach participants how to use Canvas Analytics tools to review student activity and how to think about this information in terms of student engagement and teaching practices. Participants will also learn how to interpret activity graphs and evaluate quizzes for effectiveness.

This workshop will also explore new and emerging analytics tools. Participants will have opportunities to provide feedback about possible features that could make learning analytics even more useful and to discuss best practices for evaluating student progress and helping struggling students.

Please register in advance and bring your laptop.
